LocoMojo Dance Academy operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). LocoMojo Dance Academy is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase or other transaction using the Services or otherwise communicate with us.

a. Refunds and Transfers
Our refund and transfer policies are detailed in our Refund Policy. In summary:
- No refunds are available once the course term commences
- This applies to both pay up front (full amount non-refundable) and pay per week (payments made are non-refundable; remaining payments must be completed)
- Pre-commencement refunds may be requested via email to hello@locomojo.dance at least 48 hours prior
- Courses cannot be transferred
- Credits may be granted at our discretion with advance notice
- Full refunds apply if we cannot deliver the course
b. Missed Classes
Should you miss a class, no refund or transfer will be applicable. Before purchasing a course please confirm that your availability is suitable.
c. Health and Safety
It is your sole responsibility to inform us of any known or suspected condition or injury that may impact your ability to participate in a class, may impact an existing condition or injury or may put you at risk of further injury. You confirm and ensure that you have sought confirmation from a medical practitioner that you are fit and able to engage in physical activity commensurate to what is offered in our courses. You assume complete responsibility and liability for any risks, injuries, damages or the like (whether known or unknown) that may occur as a result of your involvement.
d. Behaviour
LocoMojo Dance Academy is a place for all people to feel safe and welcome. We do not tolerate aggression, violence, bullying, harassment, inappropriate advances, or the like. Should you exhibit any of the above-mentioned activities or behaviours, or any activities or behaviours that LocoMojo Dance Academy deems as similar activities or behaviours, LocoMojo Dance Academy reserves the right to ask you to leave the class and the premises. No refunds, or transfers will be applicable. LocoMojo Dance Academy reserves the right to apply its discretion in deciding what is deemed inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour.
e. Appropriate Footwear
Appropriate footwear must be worn on our premises. The definition of appropriate footwear will be decided at the sole discretion of the instructor of each course and class. For further clarity of what footwear is recommended, refer to our FAQ on our website.
f. Photography and Filming
Photography and filming is not permitted during class either if you are participating in the class or observing. The only exception to this policy is when the instructor specifically invites students to take video or photos of the instructor or instructors demonstrating a dance. At no times are students permitted to take pictures or video of other students. At the sole discretion of the instructor or LocoMojo Dance Academy, a breach of this policy may result in you being asked to leave.
g. Theft or Loss of Property
LocoMojo Dance Academy takes no responsibility for lost or stolen property. Ensure your belongings are kept safe, secure and visible to you at all times.
h. Course Cancellation
LocoMojo Dance Academy reserves the right to cancel a class or course at our discretion. Rest assured that this would only occur under extreme circumstances and will be avoided by LocoMojo Dance Academy vehemently. Should we need to cancel a course or class, a refund commensurate to the course or class cancelled will be provided within a reasonable timeframe.
i. Age Requirement
You must be 16 years or older to attend a LocoMojo class. If you are under 18 years of age, you must attend with a guardian who is over the age of 18 or have authority to attend a class from a guardian who is over the age of 18. Such an authorisation must be communicated to LocoMojo in person by a legal guardian over the age of 18.
Payment Options
We offer two payment options for our courses:
Pay Up Front
A single payment covering the full course fee, due at the time of purchase.
Pay Per Week
Weekly payments starting on the course commencement date (day 1) and continuing each week until the full number of weekly payments for the course term have been made. Payments are automated and non-cancellable once the course begins.
Important Notice
No refunds are available for any payments once the course has commenced.
This applies to both payment types. For pay up front, the full amount is non-refundable after start. For pay per week, payments already made are non-refundable, and you remain obligated to complete the remaining weekly payments.
Refunds and Transfers
Before Course Starts
To request a refund before the commencement date, you must submit a written request to hello@locomojo.dance at least 48 hours prior to the start.
Refunds, if approved, will cover:
- The full amount paid (for pay up front)
- Any initial payments made (for pay per week)
Transfer Policy
Course purchases cannot be transferred to another person.
Date Changes
A course purchased for a specific start date must be used for that course term. However, at LocoMojo Dance Academy's discretion, we may grant a credit for future use.
Credit requests must be submitted to hello@locomojo.dance at least 48 hours before the commencement date.
Our Guarantee
If LocoMojo Dance Academy is unable to commence or deliver the course relevant to your purchase, a full refund will be provided.
